Imani Christian Academy Needs Your Support

We Reflect on 2020

In March 2020, Imani counselors, teachers, and staff worked tirelessly to transition students to remote learning. The challenges were steep, as many families were new to technology, left behind and held back by the digital divide. Many families did not have access to a computer or tablet and several households didn't have internet access. In response, Imani worked with each family, to include one-on-one coaching for parents and caregivers who were learning to use technology for the very first time. In spite of COVID, Imani completed a successful school year, and launched remotely in the fall 2020 and welcomed students back for in-person learning in April of 2021.

2021 and Beyond

Imani began the 2021- 2022 school year with full in-person learning as we are now #OpenForGood. We are looking forward to the new school year to re-engage with our students in the classroom. But, we need your support. Classroom supplies, student school supplies, building/grounds maintenance, cleaning supplies, hand-sanitizers, masks, face shields are just some of the things needed to help us stay #OpenForGood

Imani Christian Academy provides faith-based education to 150 students in grades K through 12. On average, 97% of our families are low-income and 98% are African American. All Imani students qualify for the free lunch program, and 97% qualify for scholarship support through Pennsylvania's Education Opportunity Scholarship program. Our children rely on the generosity of donors, like you. Please give as generously as you can!
